Dr Hari Alani is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and Sydney Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. He has dedicated his life to developing and upgrading his surgical talents.
Dr Alani is one of the few plastic surgeons in Australia who is a double-qualified Plastic Surgeon with extensive local and international experience. He has significant expertise in Face, Breast, Body and Reconstructive Surgery. He performs a wide variety of hand surgery and skin procedures at the Gregory Hills Clinic.

Dr Alani has great passion & creativity and has a love of artwork, especially painting. When he is not working he enjoys spending time painting landscapes. He has participated in many art exhibitions internationally.

Dr Alani’s Medical Training to be a Specialist Plastic Surgeon
After achieving his MBChB degree in 1993, Dr Alani began his 25 year journey in plastic surgery.
He successfully completed his first Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) from Germany/Belgium.
Dr Alani then went to the USA for a Fellowship at Southern Illinois University. He worked as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon in one of the Centres affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine in Abu Dhabi. (Tawam Hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine).
After 12 years of practice as a consultant plastic surgeon, Dr Alani came to Australia to start another full training program in Sydney and achieve the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). During that period he worked in many plastic surgery centres in Sydney including Royal Prince Alfred, Prince of Wales, Westmead, Liverpool and the Royal North Shore Hospitals.
Dr Alani completed his long journey of Plastic Surgery training with a Fellowship at St Vincents Hospital in Sydney (Head and Neck reconstruction and Breast reconstruction).
