Breast and body combination surgery refers to a personalised approach that addresses multiple areas in one procedure – commonly pairing breast surgery (such as augmentation, lift, or reduction) with body contouring procedures like abdominoplasty or liposuction. This approach can help restore balance, proportion, and overall body harmony following weight loss, pregnancy, or ageing.
Dr Michael Kernohan is a Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in Sydney who tailors each combination procedure to the individual’s anatomy, lifestyle, and goals. His focus is on achieving natural-looking, well-proportioned outcomes while prioritising safety and comprehensive care.

Breast and Body Combination – Patient 8
This patient underwent abdominoplasty with repair of separated core muscles, combined with some liposuction to adjust the flanks and contours of the abdomen. Bilateral Breast Mastopexy(uplift) was also performed using the “lollipop” or “vertical scar” style incisions avoiding the long incision across the crease under the breasts. This is called the “Hall-Findlay” technique after a famous Canadian female surgeon. It offers natural shape, elevation of the base of the breast and less scarring. It is not suitable for every patient.
Breast and Body Combination – Patient 9
This patient underwent a Bilateral Breast Reduction with “lollipop” or “vertical scar” style incisions avoiding the long incision across the crease under the breasts. This is called the “Hall-Findlay” technique after a famous Canadian female surgeon. It offers natural shape, elevation of the base of the breast and less scarring.
